Sunflower is one of the most interesting type of flowers we like to associate ourselves with. Sunflower is one type of flowers which has an attractive yellow colour and also its scent. It has a yellow colour which attracts individuals from a distance, especially when they are in a large plantation.Sunflower plant has various beneficial uses which I am going to take you through them shortly. First let us proceed to describing the flower right away.
Sunflower is a type of a flower which originated from Northern America and was later spread to the rest of the world. It is then at later stages that it was commercialized in Russia and it is recently seen that it has returned back to its place of origin that is the, Northern America and it become now a cultivated crop. The scientific Name of this plant is called The Helianthus Annuus. Sunflowers grows well on loam soils and in sandy soils too. It has been discovered the plant does well during summer time.
