ROSE FLOWER

Rose flower is a familiar flower which is anticipated for various purposes in our various day-to-day lives. Rose flowers are just amazing to associated ourselves with starting from its components. A rose flower is a shrub type of plant which is found in different colours. It is found in various colours like, red roses, yellow roses, purple roses or sometimes white roses.

 As you see, there are different categories of roses based on their colours and also there are a mixture color roses like pink roses. Rose is a perennial flowering plant of genius Rosa in the family of Rosaceae. The plant is naturally a climber plant which climbs on trees and has sharp prickles. They are mainly grown and maintained for its beauty and fragrance. The name rose originally originated from France in combination with latin words in naming the flower.

Rose flowers is a distinctive plant that has been honoured for its smell and therefore, it is irresistable to be called a unique plant. The uque features about the flower are as follows:

• Rose flowers have a distinctive smell  which ofcos other flowers do not have, in fact, the oil made out of rose flowers has a perfect scent used in many perfume industries as an ingredient  to produce elegant perfume smells. The scent of rose flowers is hilarious and it is applied in making soaps, shampoos, birth gels, body lotions, air fresheners, perfumes and many more.

• Rose flowers act as a symbol of love and affection and so it is used in various occasions for example, they may be used in weddings, in packaging gifts of attraction and affection, in special days like valentines days and Christmas days and also they may also be used for decorating houses and gardening too.  

                Planting
 Roses are known to have a specific blooming season. The blooming season for roses has been discovered to start from march and continues all the way through to September month. This means that this flower blossoms well during summer season therefore, planting of this plant would highly be recommended to start before this season.  Planting of this plant has various steps to be undertaken before its is grown and also other procedures to be observed until the plants matures which i am going to take you through them right away. Before, planting this flower, you must first look for a suitable location and the location requirements should be:

• The location should be open and should be exposed to sunlight of at-least 6 hours a day
• The site should again have a proper drainage to drain water and the location should be accessible to enough supply of water. 

After making sure that this requirements have been attained, the next step now is to proceed to prepare the soil for the actual planting of the flower. Rose plant is not skeptical to soils but it can grow in different soils but because it absorbs large of nutrients then the best recommended soil to grow the plant will be loam soil. First, you will need to dig the soil well before the plant is planted and prepare the soil well by making sure that the soil has sufficient nutrients to supply the plants throughout their growth until maturity and this achieved through mixing the soil with organic manure or the recommended fertilizers.

What follows next is to actually plant the plant. The procedure of how to plant the plant would be as follows:

• First you will need to dig a slightly a wider hole and deeper to accommodate the root of the plant this means you have to dig a hole that is approximately 13 to 16 inches deeper and 16 to 23 inches wider.
• After plant the plan and mix a handful of bone meal of superphosphate on top of the closed hole to make the seedling acclimate faster above the soil.
• Then now wait for the seedlings to grow, and monitor them throughout their growth to make sure that they have sufficient supply of nutrients and water supply and have a good exposure of sunlight. Aslo make sire that there is no disturbance affecting them like enchroachment by weeds and application of necessary chemicals to keep weeds and pests away from affecting the growth of the flowers negatively.

The rose plant is very attractive during blooming period and has the ability to attract insects and bird which acts as the agents of pollination. After flowering period, it is noticed that the rose plant undergoes some development. After the blooming period, The petals of the flower are seen to fade and a new development of a fruit is seen. The fruit is called Rose hips, it is shown in the image below.

  These are rose fruits which develop after pollination. The fruit is quite juicy and it resembles like an apple. The fruits the plant produces are edible.

• Rose flowers are used for beauty and regarded as an affection connector that connects people who are affectionate of each other in our day-to-day lives for example the flowers are used to package gifts and also they are used in special occasions like valentines day for couples whether they are married couples or dating couples.

• A plantation of rose flowers forms beauty of the place and so it creates aesthetics of the place and so it contributes to beauty of the environment. Therefore, this plant is applied in gardening and decoration in houses due this amazing beauty feature.
• The rose flower plant has an attractive scent and due to this fact, the plant oil is applied as an ingredient in  perfume industries to produce best perfumes. Also, due to its elegant smell, it is applied in soap industries, manufacturing of bath gels and air fresheners.
• Rose plant produces edible fruits which are rich in vitamins hence it has the potential to protect individuals who use its fruits against external illnesses.
